Default Vinson "park" won't engage

Hey all. I loaded up this morning and it would just roll back. I tried at least six times loading, unloading. Put it in neutral, rocked it back and forth-etc. I was by myself and had to hold the break and reach around the front of the trailor with the strap. Frustrating as heck. I hope I don't have to take it to the dealer as they take forever to get anything done. I was hoping one of you might have an idea.

Well if your back breaks still work then maybe it is the linkage on the shifter. Might have come lose or something. Try looking down in there and see what you come up with.

Ended up taking it to the dealer. The lever that locks the driveline called the "pawl" was broken in half. Its made of pot metal. They said I was lucky it hadnt gotten caught up in the gears. Of course it has to be orderd and won't be here until the end of next week. They are also going to look at why the front end grabs when it is turned. If your not holding on,it will flip you. Its been like that from day one,but they say I must have hit somthing. I think I would have been aware of it,but they say no-the alignment and adjustment is going to cost me. Oh well.

I guess thats all part of the game. You play you pay. Is your Vinson still under warranty?

yes its still under warrenty. The "pawl" should be covered. The front end will be out of pocket. And your right-having fun can be expensive! I do enjoy the hell out of it!
