I don't think your willing to spend enough. My buddy just had his TRX250R bored and stroked to 330 by CT. after motor work, Carb, Exhaust, airbox mods etc... he's in about $3000. Plus the cost of the quad, the PEP Shocks, aftermarket wheels and tires, and so on,and so on, and so on. I'll bet he's into his quad for $15,000 or better. I have another buddy with a Banshee, he was putting it up for sale and I was going through his receipts with him, $24,000 plus the approx $8000 he paid for it (after Finance Charges/tax etc...) Some people take racing very seriously and will not lose no matter what it takes, and it takes major cash flow. Thats why I will never make it passed the woodsman class. I just like to ride and have a good time and try not to make it a competetion every time I go out. I'm not tryin to make you feel bad or discourage you, I'm just givin it as I see it. Good Luck

Yeah 1000 is not much to build up a motor for drags.

Otherwise go with a National Porting Package from CT. They claim a 30% power increase.
