LT250 guy with the 400EX plastic & A-Arms???
Scott, nice to hear from you. I am looking at some Z400 a arms up next to my LT250 '87. The Z400 are identical to 400EX except for being a hair wider at the mounting point. (by "narrower" I mean each mount's width, not the width from from the front of the a arm to the back). The upper is pretty much a drop-in, but the bottom seems to have the mount for the ball joint farther back which would create a negative caster situation.
So, my question is, how did yours go on? I think you used the 400EX spindles & outer parts, did that make your caster (not camber) correct, at least good enough to work? Looking at the 400EX arms, they are a bit narrower at the mounting points and seem that they would bolt up using a couple of spacers so they weren't sloppy in the mount. This is a bit hard to describe accurately without drawing on a piece of paper........

i did run into that problem too, but i just made the bottom mounts out farther "side to side", like when i had them on at first the camber/castor was junk but then i made new bottom mounts that stretched out to make it purrfect!i have 250r spindles and brakes, but the z400 idea is what i would have done to keep it "suzuki" but i just got my hands on cheap parts. check out my pic's i think you can see the bottom relativly well but im not sure.
p.s. id go with 400ex shocks or z400 shocks if you decide to do this!
