z250 backup start

Default z250 backup start

Does the z250 not have a recoil backup? I figured since the engine is basically that of an Ozark 250 (which has recoil backup) that it would have one.

It doesn't have recoil backup.

You can push start that quad. Just get on a hill or have someone push you. 1st put it in 2nd gear but hold up the shifter with your toe and get some speed up and let off the shifter. I have done this before with out any problems.

HUH, I always wondered, how or if you could push start an auto clutch. Cause, when its in gear and not running you can push it as if it were in neutral.

Thanks guys. I was wondering about push-starting an auto-clutch too.
