What oil do you run in your Z400

I run a full synthetic that I get at the dealer and it costs like thirteen dollars a freakin quart. They tell me that I cant run automotive synthetic cause it is not designed for the wet clutch. Is this true and what should I use?

Go with Amsoil 0w-40 four stroke synthetic. No worries about the clutch slipping as there are no friction modifiers. I use it in all my quads with great results, especially super smooth shifting. 5W-30 mobil 1...i have ridden it in very hostile conditions for two years with no problems.may i suggest corn oil
