Why isn't Suzuki trying to compete with the current high performance quads??

 

they are aka z-450 tba release date, prob in august.

 

August of 05 more than likely. The bike has just barely been released.

 

I could bet anyone the amount of money that Bill Gates has that it WILL be out this fall. Suzuki has a lil trick up there sleeve and the YFZ450 is will have a new enemy to try and keep up with.......Geez look what Gust can do with a Z400, hes the champion of the underdog..............

2 sport atvs from scratch released w/in 2 years of each other? I would be surprised. All of the leaks from zuki point to a late 2005/early 2006 relase.

I guess we'll just see what happens. I would think that with the good publicity zuki has gotten for their 400 from gust and the mags along with the desire to do some troubleshooting with the rmz450 before a transplant would make for a later date.

 

Doug Gust is far from an underdog. And hes not riding anything close to a stock z400. Hes got a Yoshi 450. But if you've noticed there are a lot of CLOSE TO stock YFZs right behind him.

 

Right behind him? ....YEAH Right... the last 2 races Farr has gotten second AND Doug was ahead of him in the last race by 10 seconds and ahead everyone in the 2nd or 3rd race by 30 seconds.
Farr is finally getting his quad up to par, now he just needs some minor tweeking for sure.
Well duh I know that his(Doug Gusts) quad is far from stock..Gee the Z400 only came out a year and a half earlier. Whatelse did ya think ya had to do to a great TRAIL quad. I mean c'mon everybody is still comparing the Z400 to the race oriented 450s and with out a doubt the 450s will kick the Zs tail.
I'm not pissed just stating the truth.
