You will probably need a bigger main jet. With the pipe you will be able to take that dirty 300ex for sure, unless you cant ride.

Default lt 230 question

the main jet size depends on the mods you have, i have a 130 and i know that would be way too rich for you, i would try a 120 and go up from there. As for the tires, if they are ballon tires,it would handle better with a set of lower profile tires, with 22's you would have a bit more ground clearance, but its up to you. The first thing you would do for more top end is regear. That is the first and cheapest thing I did.

Default lt 230 question

I think reworking the suspension would be the first step in trying to go much faster..I have puyt a set of front shocks off a 300ex on my quad but, I still have to raise the top shock mount an inch or so... the front end really picked up in height making the front end to light.. I know my front shocks were trash .. so far I have a hundred bucks in project... much cheaper than new shocks and lots better than old ones
