I was wondering what the stock horsepower was on a z250. FMF said that their Q exhaust gave it 3-4 more horsepower. So I was wondering what the stock horsepower was.

Ok, Ill believe that. Sounds reasonable. So with the pipe it would be about 16-17 horsepower.

Ya, that helps, I'd say that the z250 has about 14 then. Cuase isnt the 300ex only like 280cc or something. It's only 30cc bigger.

I find it hard to believe that a pipe on a 4 cycle will add 25% more horsepower. You can't really guess horsepower by how much H.P. another bike of similar size has, there are too many variables.

 

Ok. gotcha, but Im only going by what FMF told me.

 

I'd believe a pipe would add 25%. Some of those factory pipes really choke a 4 stroke. I think they're going for quiet, not HP when they design exhaust.

 

well a lakota is 13.9 and i know for a fact that its more powerfull then the z. and also the z and 250 ex are very similar (basicly the same but diff colors) and both coming from a utility atv so id say like 11-13 flat
