Ditto. Considering that this information is so valuable and complete that he could very likely publish it in a Zilla power manual, I would definitely check with him.

Well, since he posted it openly on Macdizzys forum, I wouldnt think there to be a problem, but if it makes you feel better.........

well first off, i didn't really think that you had to take it down, maybe just ask his permission and take it down if he said that he didn't want it up (which i doubt) just ask the guy before you take something he spent a lot of time writing and copy onto another site. it's not that hard. who knows, maybe he just didn't want this kind of info on this kind of site.

but then there's rick... and the content of the forum is legally his i think, and it's his business. there's a membership fee we had to pay to post there, and i doubt he likes people reposting some of the most valuable threads on his site, onto another major forum, which is free.

First and foremost, Dr Q posted the RX on Macdizzy long BEFORE it cost to become a member,So dont act like the info wasn't there before the $10.99 fee. Secondly, if you post something online in an open forum, guess what? its public domein. Im sure that when Dr Q wrote the RX, he didnt have only Macdizzy members in mind, it just happened to be a forum where many LT owners gathered, he put it on an open forum for all to see, if he was concerned about people relaying the info, im sure he would have taken down the Rx and copywrited it long ago

And about Rick, its not my fault that he didnt have the foresight to get a few sponsors, if anything he saw that the Rx was on his site, realized it was the only post of any merrit, and found a way to capatalise on it.

yeesh. i'm just saying that reproducing someone else's intellectual property without their consent isn't a good idea. instead of disagreeing with me, just ask the dude. C'mon, think about it.

if this was a HUGE corporation or major magazine's words... give'r... but these are induviduals we're talking about here... tread lightly.
