Default jetting help

i just put a UNI air filter on my quad and now it keeps cutting out and dying. and then it wont start without holding down the throttle. could it be jetting and should i go smaller or larger

shouldn't of had any effect. You probably got some dirt in the carb. If the filter supplied more flow, you have to jet up, but since you are the only one that can look at your plug, you have to look and decide.

Default jetting help

Knowing what the throttle position is, when it cuts out and dies, will help figure out which circuit is lean. Is it dieing at idle? wide open? half throttle? Once you restart, will it idle ok? Did you do any other mods? airbox lid off?
