Well.....if you do a lot of trail riding then you should probably get not only a pipe that is trial riding approved, but one that is kind of quiet because it will **** other people off. They might get mad and report you or somthin. Who knows.....there is lots of old people out there that would just love to call the cops on somebody that is having fun. (no offense)

Yeh, I have a '89 LT250S with a cobra pipe on it and i wear ear plugs when i ride the beast!
Save your money and buy a white brothers, it will also improve the hp over the cobra, the only thing good about the cobra is the price!!!

Cobra pipes are a waste of money as far as I am concerned. You only get what you pay for. Save your money and get a good pipe. I think all the big names (FMF, WB, ProCir., etc..) are all good pipes. It is all my personnal preference and cost. My opinion, stick with stock. When you compare how much money to power gains, I don't think it is worth it. But I guess it all depends on what type of riding you are doing. I strictly trail ride so I would rather spend the money on good tires, skid plates, or a dozen other things.

your dad is right, loud pipes only cause problems for all the riding areas, plus some people think the louder ther pipe, the more power it has, not true, cobra pipes r a waste of money , not much power gain, and all they do is give people a headache, dont get me wrong i love good pipes, but you have to watch how loud u get! save your money a go with a good pipe with a spark arrester!
