Well guys, I went and sold my 92 quadracer the other day! I am still kinda in shock about it....funny how you can actually get attached to a machine, isn't it? Just wanted to let everyone else here know the news. I'll probably be buying a YFZ 450 now, but I'll keep coming here to the Suzuki forums to talk to everyone.

sorry to hear you sold her.i didnt like the YFZ when i rode it.the only thing i liked about it was the smooth ride and the handling.it didnt seem to be as powerful as my LT but would still beat me in a drag.i think it is way over rated (stock that is) and isnt worth the money you pay for it.

I have an 87 LT and just bought a YFZ. So far I'm totally happy with the YFZ and after this weekend at the dunes I will have a very good comparison report.

Thanks guys, let us know how you like that YFZ Shady. I have to agree with needaR though. The 4 strokes don't "feel" like they're moving as quickly as they are. I still have to say that I love the 2 stroke hit.
I just figure that the YFZ will handle so much better once I have it set up like I want. True, it's expensive and I'll swap most every stock part out anyway, but it was time for a change!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you sell the LT for?

Good luck with the new ride (as long as it's not red). I'm sorry to see another LT owner move on, but then again there's probably a kid somewhere that is really happy with his new Racer.
