LT won't start with new pwk carb

Default LT won't start with new pwk carb

Check the float bowl/float setting may be flooding it out that way or stuck shut.It's been awile since I had a khien carb so I hope I'm helping.

yeah and being brand new that would be chitty lol but im with zuk somethings flooding it out.

Crap a used one,don't be disappointed,go through it,check it over,it could be something simple.

i was having trouble getting the needle and little metal thing to lock in the slide.well the i took it off the cable.does the needle just drop down into the hole and the little spring set around it?

On mine the needle sits in a threaded hole in the slide, you screw on the cable holder and then with the spring compressed the cap, you hook the cable end into the cable holder.

I think on the Khien carb's they have the metal thing that hold's the cable end into the slide,on a Mikuni it has a plastic thing that screw's to the slide.

I run a 48 pilot in my 35.5 pwk's, and it is still a touch on the rich side.

since u guys are on the subject, how many turns on the air screw is a good start for a 38 pwk a/s
