Hey guys, now since my Z400 is broke in i need to do the 1st oil change. I'm not shure what oil is the best for my Z.

I'm going to use a 10-40 but not shure if I should use the factory suzuki oil or go with a synthetic oil or a synthetic blend?

The dealer recomended the Honda oil HP4 Syn blend without moly becouse of the wet clutch? What do ya guys think, good oil...

What ever oil i go with will be the oil I stick with for a long time. I use the fully synthetic Amsoil in my LT250S becouse the thing gets so damn
Hot in the summer!!

What kind of oil do you all use? How often do you change it?

10w30 synthetic,i've been using it for 2 years and i ride it pretty hard.and after the 2 years my valves are STILL in spec.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]i don't think it matters what u use because the engine is liquid cooled

 

Man it may not matter to you since I ride a Z250 but I use Mobil 1 MX4-T motorcycle oil and I love it. Reccomended by many engine builders that I know and have talked to. No clutch slippage that I know of.

 

Honda HP4! (But, DON'T get the HP4M, with moly.)

We use the Honda HP4 on all our quads.

 

I've always used Suzuki 10w40 synthetic, and i ride my Z alot, but what ever you use use synthetic it's better for your tranny

 

I also use synthetic:
