Paddle Tires For The Z??
#1
I'm looking to buy some paddle ties for my stock Z400.
Should I stay with the factory 9" size or does it make a difference to go with a bigger size?
What tire do you recomend for the Z?
Thanks for any help, the Zman

I wouldn't reccomend sand devils. My brother in law just bought some 21x12x8 9 paddle haulers but has not run them yet I'll post how they work when i get a chance to ride it

If its stock just get some sand sharks, they work just fine. I go to the dunes every weekend during season and I have no complaints at all about my sharks.

I'm in the same boat here.
I've got $200 to use to get paddles and tires but no one will answer my questions in the duners forum.
***I'm just wondering if it affects the performance of the bike (speed wise) as to the heighth or design of the paddles.***
I ran paddle masters at Winchester Bay, OR and they did just fine in the hill climb catagory but was kind of hard to throw the rear end around due to the extra weight.
I'm pretty much leaning towards Sandstars but I'm open to suggestions. Don't want to take the chance of buying a rotten egg and then having to suffer with it.
