DUNES REPORT! After the re-jet.
#1
After fattening up the mixture with my 134, I went to the dunes over the weekend...
What can I say except HELL YEAH! Definitely made a difference. Where before I needed 4x4 to do most of the dunes, I almost exclusively was in 2wd this time out, Reserving 4x4 for only the tallest dunes.
The wife rolled it, 5 times... but it survived unscathed! Just had to re-adjust the handlebars. *whew* She hurt her knee, but other than that, everything was ok. Too much power for her to handle? Nope, just trying to climb a dune at about 5mph in 3rd gear. DOH! Turned sideways, and away it went, down the hill over and over.
I have to adjust the valves AGAIN though. Not looking forward to that. Too much WOT, I guess. Gotta be in the gas at the dunes, though. Can't help it.
A few pics of the trip on my page...
