Default Suzuki Z400

Can anyone help with this one? The 4 wheeler won't run unless I've got the choke full open. The idle hasn't been messed with at all.

How long has your z been acting like this, any other symptoms, i.e. have you recently done some modifications or anything else ?

throw it away and get a new one.
Try to mess wityh the idle that may work. Maybe u changes it by mistake.

yea, definately the carb, I bet it has a piece of dirt in the jets. Take em out and clean em.


Other symptoms will help us pinpoint it to.

Thanks for the info! I'll clean out the carb and hopefully that fixes it. It ran fine this past weekend. It did start to sputter towards the end of my ride though.

Probably dirt in the carb but check the whole fuel system for some kind of blockage, plugged filter or something in the lines or tank.

Mine did this and found out it was the gas cap vent hose kinked.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
