top speed of a lt500?

Default top speed of a lt500?

Any one know the top speed of a lt500. Mine has no mods except a dg exhaust.

78-80 MPH id say stock.exhaust may have added a couple to it.

they ran 80 stock with a set of reeds pipe and carb they can run close to 90 no problem but they can get away from you..

had mine at about 120, 90 in an 1/8 mile. ok ok i have a couple mods.

can u recomend any mods for the lt500. something simple i'm not a mechanic i only know a small bit about engines.

if you don't have it done yet take off your airbox and put a k&n filter on (if you dont ride through rivers or anything). a port & polish job from a reputible builder might be the best thing, along with a wiseco piston, but its not something you want to tackle if you're not a mechanic. then get a bigger carb. its not whether its a simple upgrade or not, its unfortuneately how much money you want to spend.

I think your recomendation of a 'reputable builder' and the link to trinity do not go hand in hand.... but that's just my opinion...

So far your the ONLY person I've ran into that's had anything good to say about them.
I only gave them one chance(Along with way too much $$$$), and Harry's bunch screwed it up good, and didn't stand behind it. And customer service? More like customer disservice!

Screw me once, shame on you..... Screw me twice, shame on ME!

If my poor opinion of them helps save one poor sole from getting screwed by them, I'm happy.
