I'm seriously thinking about Getting the Z400. The Z250 doesn't have enough power and it's too slow. If I get a new exaust and header, is there really gonna be that much of a difference? I would love to pull wheelies in 3rd gear can u do that with the Z400

 

my friend has a 400ex(a little LESS powerful than a z400) and he pulls wheelies in 1st,2nd,3rd whatever....so i doubt that you will have ne problem on the z

 

i think you should get the Z400. my brother with a z can pull wheelies in 3rd quite easily. my friend on a KfX400 and hift throught the gears to 5th gear(NO LIE).

 

so u own a z250 and are recommending a z400 to him?? thats kinda weird....y didnt u get a z400??? im sure u had enough with all the stuff u have on ur z250

 

i have 04 z400 with hmf slip on and i can pull good wheelies in 3rd.

 

well we're financing my quad cause we don't have the money.. But if I were to trade it in for the Z400 do u think i would be able to pay the same monthly price but over a longer period of time?

I can stand my Z up in 4th, it takes some pull but will do it, I think if I had a flat enough straight i could do it in 5th. But the Z400 obviously has more potential than the 250 and I think it is a great bike. Whatever you can afford.
