I know I should have probably posted in the drivetrain, suspension, and tires section but I figure more people visit this catagory. I have some Raz'rs and was wondering what psi is the best for woods riding? Any help is appreciated and thanx in advance.

I run mine about 4.5 PSI, I have Razr 2's on a Raptor. Seems to work well in most any terrain. I'm always afraid of having too much pressure, rock puncturese etc..., and 4.5 gives me the best of both grip and compliance to sharp objects. Any more pressure and I get too much wheel slippage.

They totally hook up wayyyyy better than stock. They still break loose when you want them to but, they really grab well on sand, loose dirt, I've even had them in sloppy mud. As long as you didn't get bogged down in the mud, keeping the wheel speed up seamed to let them clean them selves pretty well....

I particularly like the idea of 6 ply tires because I do a lot of desert riding, and don't relish the thought of a flat....
