Is it possible?

i recently got into troube with the police on my wheeler and my parents took both the keys{even though the atv is mine} and i still want to ride it. i was wondering if its possible to hotwire the machine. I know how to hotwire my friends 300ex, but mine doesnt have the same components. does anyone know how to do it?

i wouldn't... just because I wouldn't want to deal w/ the mess after you got the keys back...
If you have the title, just goto the dealership and ask for a new key...

just try unplugging the ignition. that worked on my snowmachine. as simple as it sounds, there's a good chance it'll work, BUT, I'm not advocating using this to thwart the will of your parents. Think about it, if you do this, and they find out (which they will, I mean, parents know EVERYTHING you're doing wrong), you might lose your ride PERMANENTLY. Think it's worth it? I'd just try some old fashioned sucking up and lawn-mowing stuff. WIN your ride back, don't steal it back. Then, they think it's THEIR idea to give it back, when you're just manipulating them into giving it back.

are you 18 or over?
if not, don,t do it,parents aren't stupid.if you get caught,(and you will), they might sell it or if your dad is handy with a wrench he may take the engine out.i have a 7 year old boy and if he hot wired it after i took the keys as punishment(obviously if he was older),i absolutely would pull the motor out. oh.. and yes...i do know how to hot wire it,and no i'm not telling you how.

YEP....Terds right!!!! As a PARENT I would not tell you how or give you any ideas!
My boys had his taken away before and if he even thought of doin what you want to do...
well ther'd be HELL TP PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just go with the flow and it doesn't do any hurts to do some suckin up,and maybe a good ol'
fashion talk with MA & PA about messin up and havin the Police at your door wasn't your best
attraction to atv'n, but let them know that you won't be lookin for that kind of chase again
and admit you were wrong.I think as a parent it would be GREAT to see a kid admit to their faults
and to learn from them, It also would be a factor in if you really meant what you said during
the admittence of being young and full of vinegar, to the realization of the wrong that YOU
caused to your FAVORITE HOBBY OF ALL TIME, would really show me as a parent that you
really see what you did was wrong and I'd probably let you go til the weekend without the
machine, afterall as a DAD I know theres lots of FUN to be had on the weekend!!Listen kid don't
blow this chance to redeem yourself by acting immature to the sport and hobby you & we all love
by makin another mistake right on top of the one you have in front of you.Just be smart about your actions and ride them out the way you should to above all RESPECTING YOUR PARENTS,after all
they did get you your machine to take part in the hobby. GOOD LUCK!!

If you're getting in trouble with the police and your parents, it's because you deserve it. Obviously you weren't being responsible. Take your punishment like you deserve and be patient. Think of what the punishment will be if you get caught hotwiring it!
Behave so you don't give quad riders a bad name!

HOWEVER, I think you should follow Bigone's advice and try to win your parents over instead of defying them. If they can take your keys, they can also sell your quad.
