Is the 250R meant just for racing, and will a Z400 hang with one?

 

It all depends on what kind of conditions your trying to hang with one under.

A 250 with a low end pipe will eat you alive in the woods but you might beat it top end. As for a drag, with the right pipe, the 250 will also eat you alive. The R isn't still around today becuase it couldn't keep up........think about it.

 

Agree with the drag part but everything else, it all depends on the rider.

 

duno bout the woods part,gotta think frame,shocks,and overall manouverability of the machine at high speeds dodgeing trees etc...

 

frame,shocks,manouverability all go to the 250r its probaly one of the best handeling atvs ever made!!
