sorry had to bump this up...
based on the fact that ill have all those mods (exhaust/jet kit/air filter/and snorkel kit)
the dalton is a "dry" spring clutch
the EPI/HL is a "wet" spring clutch.
what on earth is the difference. I was told that it just engages at higher rpms (wet spring)
I plan to do prob 26 inch tires all around (1 inch bigger than stock)
maybe mudlites...maybe 589s...who knows.
I want to order this clutch kit tonight and have it next day aired for monday. However I cant find any info on which one is best. I want to possibly increase top end but thats the least of my concerns...its getting to that top end that i want to really increase. I'd like to be able to pull wheelies like that crazy guy did on the honda rincon videos.
I do a lot of riding in sand/mud/deep water and a bit of hardpack. basically all around but I do love to frig around in the mud and deep water.

When you get the clutch kit let me know all about it. I too am looking for something that will give me wheelie power. If I can't get it on the Vinson I may have to get a BF or a King Quad. Many thanks and look forward to your reviews.

i am confused on this, i still think from what i have read and heard that people love the dalton, and there people are great to deal with, i want more lost power back, heck lemme order it and if its no good, i will return it.

well I figured what the hell i dont really care much about the difference if any between the clutches now...either one of them will be a huge improvement over what the stock crap is giving me. Did you adjust your valves and stuff yet??
I just bought myself some iridium spark plugs for my vinson from www.sparkplugs.com

Well my exhaust and jet kit combined with air filter really seemed to bring the bike to life...over whoops especially. Any small bumps if I hit the gas the bike literally jumps over them and catches air when I'd need some serious speed before.

well mike, it looks like i will have to postpone ordering my clutch.
i snapped a cv joint today, and the parts should be here next wensday, i needed a whole new cv axle assembly, and new wheel bearings. because everthing was toast, all for a grand total of 350$ looks like i am going to take the lift off, and get a set of holeshot atr's, and clutch eventually, i am selling my rm soon hopefully, and the $ i get from that i can deff get all the stuff.
