Default couple more lt250 ?s for the pros

Ok, since you all have been so helpfull, thought id lay these on ya

1. I found my oil leak, its the seal behind the front sproket, a big pain? or p ul it right out?

2. Last weekend i was riding, somwhat aggressively, and maybe 3 times hard in i think 3rd or 4th gear, id hear a little puff of air type of noise, almost like a complression relief valve (if anyone is familiar), was that the plug fouling?

3. Gas petcock is a total pain, are new available? its a real hassle just to turn without gloves on

4. Despite what anyone has said, i needed new shocks, was taking some kidney crunching landings, so i got a pair of 400 ex shocks dirt cheap, im going for it, avert your eyes, ill let youknow how they end up working

5. oh, almost forgot, if im riding and i throttle fast, and suddenly let off, when i go to push the thumb back in , it wont go? like its getting bound up, but i had tha carb apart 2 weeks ago to clean, im assuming its somthing with the cable, but anyone had this?

thanks again for all your help fellas, ans ride safe

1.dont know.never done it.i say get a clymer manual and it will help you out tramendiously.

2.never heard that.????? if the plug fouls it dies.

3.mine was too.i took mine off and cleaned it up with a wire wheel.works real smooth now.can probably buy a new one at www.ronnies.com

4.let us know how it goes.

5.sounds like the jetting.does the thumb actuter move at all.if not then it could only be the cable or cable slide getting hung up in the carb.

behind the sprocket leak is easy, you take the sproket off, then u got a rubber seal, a metal sleeve. and a oring, and that it, just buy those parts and change them, it was like 12 bucks when i did it.
