Default Jetted today. WTF?

I jetted today via a dyno jet kit and the recommendations that I received were to use the 146 jet from the stock 130. seemed a bit lean so the next jet in the package was a 150. It seemed way too rich. Is there a jet between the 146 and 150? If so, why is it not included in the kit? If not, WHY? WTF?

There wouldn't likely be such a big change as too lean on a 146 and way too rich at 150. Why you going so rich over stock anyway? I see no mods listed to justify it unless you are running way below sea level in a mineshaft or something. Something was wonkey with the 146 or its install I'll bet.

The lower the jet number the lean and the higher the richer or is it different for different carb's. It had a 130 stock and you put the 146 in it, that should make it richer.. and they are all different size jet. you get buy one jet at a time..

I failed to mention that I took off the airbox lid and I am jetting with a DynoJet kit. That is why I was wondering why there was such a jump in between the jet sizes.
I may be mistaking that it is bogging on the 150 when it may be a possibility that I am hitting the rev limiter. How can you tell when its the rev limiter? I was getting some black soot on the outside of the plug (near the threads) but not too much on the electrode. Is it a possibility that it is from bogging due to the rev limiter.

When its doing the bogging....back out of the throttle abit and see if it pulls better. If it runs stronger when you back off, that little bit, its probably rich.
Heres an article on jetting and symptoms, which might help.

Could the rev limiter be ruled out if when I go back to the 146 that it will only bog when it is in neutral not under load? In both instances it only bogs at the high end of the power curve. It really screams with the 150 but it starts to bog at a little over 3/4 throttle.

Thanks for the link,I'll check it out.
