Hi I'm new to the forum. been looking for awhile here. Just want to post something. Today me and some buddies were riding. There was a couple of other fully piped dmc z400's And a vforce 700 two raptors fully piped yosh. 400ex stock. And mine I have a slip on yosh (team suzuki) I play with my carbs ( I like to play ) A couple of holes in the air box but other than that it's pretty much stock. And a 15 tooth front sprocket.( HUGE DIFFRENCE) we all raced On the track on the road It did not matter. my z won hands down 700 660's 400 It did not matter. I really don't know. just that I have a fast z . Not the fastest out there but aI'm very satisfied with my z . Thinks for all of your time Scott

i put a 15 tooth on front 42 on the rear and it will run with the banshee gears made a huge differnce

 

That's cool that you ride faster quads. I do the same and I\m currently the slowest of the group. There are 4 raptors(all piped), 5 banshees(that all run over 95 mph) and 1 yfz(also piped). I hang real good with the raptor my first 3 gears but after that they all pull on me. But it\s fu to ridewith them cause they know all the good trails.

 

if u do a 15 on front and a 42 on the rear, will u lose any power added from an exaust slip on???

and would u have to do any modifications with the transmission????
