my vinsons display is reading a -- when i put it in neutral, reverse, or park, h and l work ok, but the others for some reason do the --- also on the display the idiot light for the P and R go on togeather when in park. i need help suzuki replaced the first 1 for free(digital display), and i dont want to spend 500$ on 1 and have it say zero miles, guess i could sell it then, nah!

ahahahaha i have never herd of that befor, that sucks . you should just try too find a new chip insted of the hole new display. or try to find a junk vinson and take it of there.hope i could help.

its not the display...you need to take off the linkage from the shifter and move it around to see if the display will shift into H L or R or P...then adjust your linkage accordingly.

once you put the linkage back on...sometimes all you have to do is take it off the transmission and free it up. Just try that out first.

i wouldnt understand why it would do it all of the sudden? the Park and Reverse indicator lights go on in park, and reverse, so mabey thats the problem.

just do what i said to try out...ive had that happen to mine and believe it or not a swift kick to the shifter linkage near the motor seemed to help it...once ina while it'd get jammed if i whacked it with a branch or something.

oh yea if mickey makes the fst cam and you have it on your bike...why did he email me and tell me he only has cams for the 581 kits??

my cam was a mystery item, i dont know how it got away from a package, someone got one for me tho, and said it would work.
