Bought second Z250

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] we picked up a second Z250 today, this one wont idle in gear? im wondering if its a break-in thing? we have 5 minutes of time on this quad.

Me and my cousin put about six hours on each 250 today (the second one is his), he was trying to follow break in the best he could, but the thing would not idle. I got on it and ran it wide open, let it coast, wide open, let it coast about 4 times, idled better but still not good enough.
Spark plug was fouled, its running awesome now. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] we are loving the 250s, these are some of the funnest quads I have ever ridden.

Actually no your supposed to push it hard when breaking it in. Saw it on another thread

actually, you are supposed to go between all the ranges during break-in. It wont hurt it to go wide open, but dont hold it more than a couple of seconds or you WILL do damage. Believe it or not babying a new engine can do just as much damage as not getting on it a little bit.
