I am currently in the process of selling my LT500 and received a request from someone overseas to purchase it. This person has never seen the bike (except pictures) but wants to buy it. He said he will send me additional money so that I can Western Union it to his shipper to have the bike sent overseas ... am not sure if this a good idea or not since I have never had any dealings with something like this.
If there is anyone who has experience with this kind of situation could you please contact me?
Thanks.

TOTALLY A SCAM!
They will send you a cashiers check, you cash it and send off your bike thinking everything is cool. Then a week later the bank gets the cashiers check back as bounced and stick you with the debt. Not only do you lose the money, you now have no bike!

I have shipped stuff overseas before. just let them know you will wait for all the funds to clear. It should not be a problem for you. You won't get scammed unless your an idiot and send the quad with out the funds clearing.
