which one is lighter

 

Depends on the tire. A 6 ply tire can be heavier than your average radial. The mx/mxr holeshots I believe are the lightest of the groups though. Kenda makes some good mx tires as well.

 

Holeshots are def lighter than razr's if you get the mx or mxr's. They are 4 ply compared to 6 ply. But 6 ply tires have to dang near run over razor blade sharp objects to get a hole in them!

 

wat?? both ITP and MAXXIS make 2 ply MX tires, 4 ply regular use tires, and 6 ply heavy duty tires. i have heard that the holeshots are lighter but i bet you would never tell a difference after u put them on ur quad...unless u had a scale. I personally like the razors better just because i like the looks of them better. I have never heard which one is better between holeshots and razors, so i am jus goin by which ones look better.

 

I have the XCR`s there smaller, which might make them lighter, there a softer rubber compound tire, hooks in a car wash. But when the time comes around to buy again im going razor 2.
