lt250r vs. predator
I'm not biased at all but i can't figure out why people think preds are slow. It gets me everytime. I would bet my money in a heartbeat that a stock pred will beat a stock 450r. As for the yfz i think it can go both ways. You guys have to start paying polaris the respect there due.
Are Preds fast?.......yes, VERY!

with my .2 on this are that the pred is somewhat heavier then the 450's and depending on where you ride oy drag race the outcomes will be different if you ride in sand and a shorter track most likely the 450 will win since the tires will be spinning alot more on the pred but in a long drag the pred will most likely catch up and win with a better top end. This is the same way my ds650 is since its heavy it has a great top end but it takes a while longer then the lighter 450's to catch up but in the long run itll win. Now if it was asphalt the pred would problably win depending ont he rider since it can grip the road without tire spin. Yea the 450's might be good quads but they don't rule the world even though people think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Just wait guys b/c I hear a little rumor that polaris has a trick up their sleeves like a 525 ktm engine in the future.

dont bring the DS650 in this because the 450 will smoke them from start to topend plus ur talkin about a 650 against the 450 a lil bigger in CC but a lil heavier its not the 450 fault that bombadier dont know how to lightin there ATV same goes for polaris the pred is bigger CC and heavier while the 450R 450YFZ and the 450Quad knows how to build a bike light and fast

Stock for stock the 450's are about even with the pred, it really all comes down to who's the better rider. As far as the 250 goes, I know that the Troy Lee Predator will beat it in a drag, with the close ratio gears, but I'm not sure about the normal predator, it's a lot different with the different gears. Either way, these are all great quads, you should really just go with the one you like and not worry about which one is faster, they all have their strenghts and weakneses.
