I just had a warn 2.5ci winch and warn 54" plow delivered this week. Got a great deal on whole package. My decision on the 54" was due to the fact we don't get a lot of snow in Va so I felt the 60" was too big but the 48" was not big enough to clear snow from the tires. a 60" plow in some deep snow will put a drag on the 400 eiger IMO.

yeah it's excelent i only have a 48in but my friends prarie had a 60in and we'd drive side by side down roads with his snow going in to my plow and i push it just as fast as he could

the 48in gets it far away enough that you don't run it over and make a bigger mess but if i got another one it would be the next step up

Plowing isn't as much about motor size as it is about traction. I live in Wisconsin and I push a 50" plow with my 89 LT160 with no problems. Chains on the rears for traction and a winch to lift it and the driveway is done in no time.

Arnard is right on the money. You will run short of traction before power. Does the Eiger have low? Good snow tires or chains are a must if you will be doing a lot of plowing.
