LT-F160 looks like Suzuki Ozark 250.

We have an '03 LT160. My daughters primarily ride it and they have no complaints. It handles very well in the sand at Pismo. It is running stock tires, so, we let some air out.

They use to rent these at Pismo! We had the LTF (with racks) years ago. While they are 50 lbs heavier than the newer version without racks, they do surprisingly well in the sand. The balooney stock tires, aired down, is the secret. But, don't try to climb anything to steep.

Been there done this one. If you want to ride the 160 in the sand then do what we did, drop a tooth on the front sprocket, and buy light wheels like .125's and go with 20" paddle tires on the rear also light (stay away from geckos) try a glider from skat trak. Also unless you are using the racks in the dunes then take um off. Every little bit counts.

Quadduck, I'm looking to get a set of sand tires and will look at the gliders from skat track. Thanks for the info.

My experience is that running paddles on underpowered bikes is a waste of money! The balooney stock tires do pretty well. The bike just doesn't have the power to take advantage of paddles, and you will find that the paddles will just tend to dig holes. In the end, you may be worse off.

That is why I said to drop a tooth and drop two inches in tire diam and go w/ light .125 wheels . Sure you won't be winning any drag races or going up the tree shots in the Oregon Dunes but you will go farther up hills and faster than aired down baloon tires. I know cause we did these mods and it worked great. Light tires and wheels are the key. Later we installed a universal supertrap, removed the air box lid and installed a uni filter of course we had to re jet and this made this little zuki scream, well for a 160 any way.
