I am either buying the 700KQ or the Prairie/TP 700.
The prairie 700 is tested and true, no major glitches, and all that.. but there wont be a P700 or TP700 next year....
The 700KQ is untested and could be the best or worst as far as reliability. The dealers are not trained at all in Fuel Injection, so if any problems, there will be a lag in getting it fixed.
It will outrun the brute force, most undoubtedly. The smaller crankshaft and less valvetrain, along with EFI will/should make it much faster and quicker.
The 2006 models are going to wipe out anything that we have. Look for a BF 850, a Prairie 850, and most likely there will be 5speed manual trannies in those monsters as well.
I want to see a KQ700 and see reviews before I purchase, but to be honest there is so much support and message boards for the P700/TP700 that anyone looking for reliability/mods/help would want a P700
It will also be awhile before there is aftermarket stuff for the KQ700, where the P700 has tons of stuff.
The OTD price is going to be tough for awhile....since so many people will pay sticker for the KING....not much room to haggle.

I think I want one (at least on paper) But I will NEVER by another new model the first year out.I don't care how much testing goes into it there are always bugs.Just look at the updates after the first year on most of them.
IF the irs is as good as the Rincons as far as handling goes I will give it a hard look.I really like the thought of EFI.Especially on those cold mornings during deer season. The EFI part is the last of my worries. This is not some new technology.......only new application.

The thing that sticks in my mind is that Suzuki doesnt put the name King Quad on anything but the best that they have, so I am sure it is engineered and tested to the gills.
I agree that a first year anything is scary, but the Brute Force is all new and only a few minor problems, and those arent really problems.

Some of the things that come to mind is....Vinson,,,,,,melted plastic, shifter, upper motor mt breaking.....
00 Kodiak (which I had)...water pump....$147.00..01's had a speedo...a new shield on the rear brakes....
Prairie....Not real problems but many upgrades.....air cleaner, primary clutch change...or course many changes came with the 700...
