Default Some Problems With the Vinson

In this topic, i would like to share some problems and considerations about y new vinson (1000 KM):

1 - the stock pipe broke down some parts got lose inside and it made a umberable ratlle like cans banging LOL my dealer already ordered a new one to replace.

2 - Stock Brakes and pads, not to happy with those, speacialy the rear one, when i brake rear with the hand brake it's even worst. Front break not to bright either. is it the stock pads that r SH...has anyone notice this on their vinson?

every thing else its just about perfect, this thing will go just about every where i want her to great atv

Default Some Problems With the Vinson

today i relay some very sad news, my vinson kicked the bucket, tranny is shot, and whole gear selector, with electronics. i went out for a quick ride down the road 1/8mi started hearing grinding from tranny in h, l, r stopped tryed reseating lever clicky click went away untill i pulled in my drive way, and clunk i almost went over the bars the rear axel locked up, and i think it went into park, the gear selector is stuck in neutral, h, l, or r, wont go over to park, but park is engaged. i dont want to do the repairs my self, i am fed up, and i cant bring it to my stealership because they are truly theives. cant move it either, had to drag it back with my truck.

Check the tire pressure, they need to be the same pressure side to side. If not , it will pull to one side or the other. Sounds like the right side has lower pressure than the left side.
Almost all quads with disc brakes, go thru pads. Its just the way it is. You can try to keep them clean, having dirt and mud, hanging on the pads or discs will really eat up the pads. You can try to minimise how much you use the brakes....rely on the engine braking a bit more.
Vinson581, sorry to hear about the problems, that really bites.

wireing should be near the frount skid plate opening if it is there. i fixed the vinson, another post to explain, (also i am going to be doing my own service manual)

brakes suck stock, replaced with braking sv duty frount, ebc sintered sv duty rear 2000mi same pads, great power.
