I just received a return phone call from Scott at Powroll. As some of you may know, they no longer advertise anything for the 230. However, he said he will sell me the 273 big bore kit with the 12 to 1 compression piston if I buy 4 kits at a time. They only make them to order at this point since there isn't a lot of interest in the 230 anymore. That's why you have to buy 4 at a time. Anyway, this is probably considered the best big bore kit ever available for the 230. He said the price would be around $1200 total for all four kits. I'm planning on keeping 2 and selling 2. If anyone is interested, let me know. I'm only going to get it if I can for sure sell 2 of the kits. It consists of the sleeve, piston, pin, clips and gasket. Price per kit would be $300 give or take a few bucks depending on what the actual total is, plus shipping. I'm not looking to make any profit on this, I just want to get 2 of the kits and not have to worry about having to sell the other 2 after the fact.

Also, they used to offer cams for this quad also. You just had to provide a good core. He said they will still grind a cam for you but they grind the actual cam you send in so it takes 4 to 5 weeks. Unfortunately, I think you have to do that in orders of 4 also. Just something to consider. There may be other companies that still offer cams for this so maybe Powroll isn't the best option for this.

i would be interested but i'm gonna rebuild this winter and i don't have the funds to tie up in parts right now.
otherwise i'd do it in a heartbeat!
i spose i'd need a new carb if i did the kit, huh.
