i have a bada$$ lt250r 1987 with new plastics and never had to be rebuilt. I t still has 80lbs of pressure on the topend and i have a new piston kit ready to go in it. I was just wandering about how much I should ask for this toy. I got a new dirtbike so my wife is making me sell it . also brand new tires and total rearend rebuild 2hrs on the new rearend

I started to sell mine for 2500 but everybody wanted to say it was'nt worth it because it is an 87 instead of like a 97. So i think i am going to drop the price to 1900

 

id keep it before u sold it that cheap. they dont make a 97 as u know so id tellem go buy thumper for 7gs.1987 fastest year at stock of the lt250s.

 

on ebay, i only got mine up to 2700!!

 

i want to get 3000 out of mine. it is completely redone except it has original shocks. all the bearings are nice and tight, it has a dg bumper that i didnt put on yet and shock covers to match the quad. brand new tie rods and ends, a brand new top end 30 over. it was only ridden enough to break it in properly. it was stripped completely down, sand blasted and repainted. the clutch cover, stator cover, linkage, bumper, and swingarm are all polished. it has a uni filter, boyseen pro reeds, full fmf and some other stuff that i know im forgetting. i probably will just take it to the local races or put it in the trader haha ebay isnt very good to racers. this wasnt a paint her up and change the p[lastic job either. we did everything right from washing out the gas tank to using wire loom on the harness to make it neat this is one of the nicest racers out there and i would bet it wont get up to 2400 on stupid ebay haha

haha, thats actually a cracked clutch cover i had as a spare. i polished the dang thing and it must of had a stress crack in in by the kickstarter and when we went to put it back on it cracked with barely tightening the bolts down. i jb welded it and threw it on till i could find another one just to get the motor fired up and broke in, but good eye !!
