does anyone know if LT 250R and LT230 axles are the same?someone on here said they were, i just wanna make sure before i buy a new axle for an lt250 and find out its not the same. any help would be appreciated. thanx

 

Have you tried talking to the manufacturer whose product you to buy? Or maybe try a Suzuki dealer?

 

no, i haven't tried talking to a dealer or anyone else, i figured someone would know on here. if nobody knows for sure, then i will call a suzuki dealer and ask them. oh, and by the way, does anyone kow any other parts that are interchangeable from the LT 250R to the LT230s? thanx in advance for any replies.

 

Nothing from the engine or exhaust will work. The swingarm on the 85/86 are similar, but I don't know if they are close enough to work though. You might be able to swap rims with an 85/6, but later 250R uses a 5 bolt pattern vs four bolt on the sport. Shocks and a-arms MIGHT match up, but why bother?

 

The brake pads, and rear sprocket are the same. In fact all Suzuki atv's share a common rear sprocket, except for the Zilla.
