Default should I do it if it is true???

Is there really a rev box for my Z250 or is it the same as a 400 or what because on the sweet quads.com site they have it listed for the Z250 and if I can get it then would it hurt my little 250 or does it just open a little more of its potential. What mods should be done with this?

Please reply Thanks

Well if they say its for the z250 than it will work. It can not be the same that is on the 400 obviously differant engines and rpm range. how much is it?

$119 w/o s/h. Well would it hurt my motor if I dont have any mods except air filter and baffle removed?

It shouldn't hurt a thing, it won't give you that many more RPMs. I'd pipe it before you buy a rev box.

yeah that would be nice but I am on limited spending so I think I am stuck with just getting the rev box for now. So I will still see a difference right just not as many more added peak rpms? Will I have to re-jet?

You won't have to rejet, and you won't notice a whole lot of power, from what I have noticed you'll notice the rev box when your machine is more modyfied like with air filter, pipe, rejet kits and cams.

I'd save up. Right now extra rpm's won't really help you. Your power curve falls off on top end with the stock setup. With a higher limiter, it will just fall off more. I'd do as Jibrille suggested and save up for a pipe.

With a stock exhaust, engine won't be making enough power at high revs to justify the rev box. I agree with the previous "save ur $$$" suggestions.
