omg none of you have obviously ran with a well maintained mojave or someone that can ride one. out of when mine was stock i could take all of those quads. no fear. i was about 8 lengths behind a 400ex in a long drag but could hold him through 3 gears. now with a pipe, header, clamp on k&n and stage to jetting i run exactly with the 400ex. he has like 2 mph faster but my mojave schools him all the way to fourth. even stock the mojave was just as fast as my friends warrior with a pipe and k&n. now i walk all over it. you do have to keep the mojave on the top end though. all those other quads dont have a chance.

 

If you're going to speed/acceleration out of the three, hit up the 300ex first, but with a little bit of modification the Mojave is supposed to be an excellent quad.

 

holy crap for all you people think the 250ex's acceleration is faster than the Z250 have obviously not ridden both.

I have never ridden a good taken care of mojave but the Z250 and the 300ex are close but the 300ex is a little faster. So the right order is

300ex --> Z250 --> 250ex

mojave somewhere before the 250ex

unless you have enough experience to make a good descision, don't say anything

 

300ex, mojave, z250, 250ex

 

The order goes like this,300ex and mojave are real close so theres 1st and 2nd,it could go either way,then the z250 and 250ex are close so theres 3rd and 4th,it could go either way also.But the mojave and 300ex easily can beat the z250 or 250ex,by atleast 3-4 quad lengths.

 

Mahnster and clover hit the nail on the head. BUT IT DEPENDS ON SKILL LEVEL!!! I walk on 400's all day long in the trails around here...gotta appreciate that autoclutch! now get me out on the track and that is slightly different. If the Z250 had more suspension I could probably hang but NO WAY in the straights, I dont even stand a chance then. Even so the Little Z cant be underestimated with a good rider holding the reigns. I hit much bigger jumps than most people that come to the track where I ride, but I have paid dearly for it with a few broken bones and some very scary situations. But once again...........

300EX,MOJAVE,Z250,250EX period dot stock for stock.

 

250ex faster than mojave?? lmfao

 

just look to the 400 class, they will take all those the 300 isn't all that fast to start with.
