Default JET LAG

I'VE BEEN TRING TO JET THE CARB ON MY LT230EN AND WITH NO SUCSESS NOTHING WORKED.
STOCK PILOT- 20 AND MAIN IS 115 , THING WON'T EVEN IDLE RIGHT.
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IS I PORTED THE HEAD WHICH OPEN PANDORAS BOX!!!!!!!
CAN ANYONE HELP SOME JETTING ADVICE OR NEW CARB SUGESTIONS
BRAND NEW REBUILT MOTOR
POCKET PORTED HEAD
WIESCO PISTON .040
DG PIPE
STOCK CAM

Default JET LAG

did you jet up from what you had? the idle circuit is based around the pilot jet mid range on the needle and the top is main jet. make sure everything is very clean to start with.

did you mess with the air/fuel mixture screw, might wanna look into that.

DUDE, I STARTED OUT WITH STOCK SETUP 20 PILOT & 115 MAIN THEN SOMEONE TOLD ME TRY 40 PILOT & 122.5 MAIN - SETUP WAS TOO FAT. THE PROBLEM I HAD WITH STOCK SETUP WAS HARD STARTING AND WHEN YOU WACK THE THROTLE IT DIED. NEXT I'M GOING WITH STOCK PILOT AND 120 MAIN AND WORK WITH THAT. EVERYONE SAYS RULE OF THUMB WHEN PUTTEN A PIPE ON JET UP TWO SIZES BIGGER AS FOR PORTED HEADS, MAYBE THREE ?
