air filter for z

Default air filter for z

I was wonderin what a good air filter for the z400 is that isnt overly exspensive. Also the site were i could maybe find it at. When i jus get a new air filter i dont have to rejet do I?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I went to that site and it said that the k&N filters for the z were in but when i went to size and colors it sound out of stock

I got a nossmachine air filter setup(like the pro design). I think it was $90, came with Bracket,K&N filter & outerware.

You will not have to rejet if you dont remove the lid. If the conditions you ride in are not to bad I would remove the lid and install a bigger mainjet(I used a 150). You will notice a nice power gain over stock.

I am still nervouse about taking my lid off because i never no when i wil be riding in muddy condiditions, dont they have a peice of thatb fabric that has velcro on the sides and it goes in place of the airbox lid

check out www.notoil.com
using their duel stage foam filter and their maintenence kit these filters are awesome. look on the opinions of them. some of the things these filter and kits have stopped is amazing.

Those filter look good, i wonder how they do compared to a k&n?

someone told me they are just as good if not better and they are reusable unlike some k&n's
