Honda THINKS THEY KNOW what there doing is what should have been said. Case in point is thier 450, it isn't even close to as good as the yfz 450 and they made this new 400ex as a johnny come lately model that will play second fiddle to the new z400.

As if the 450R isn't ugly enough. Now they had to go and screw up the 400EX too. Oh well.

 

The Z way out classes the outdated 400ex with it's advances in '05. Reverse, new gear ratios, not to leave out new plastics will not make this quad desirable to educated quad enthusiasts. I've been a Honda freak since 1980 and currently own several Hondas, one being the recent departed 450r which I was not impressed with. There really is nothing new and exciting in their sport line up. I would love to own a 650 r or ex, but that's more of a wet dream than reality.

 

Why not MAKE your dream a reality? Go get yourself a 650 and turn it into your 650ex.

 

I did that with a CRF450. It wasn't worth the time or money.
