i had to buy a new swingarm and bearing carrier for my '88 too a few months ago...What i ended up doing was gettin a dirt wheels magazine, and in the back right before all the ads with pictures, they have a page of ads with just riding. Alot of those places are ATV salvage yards. I just read each of the ads and wrote down the names and phone numbers of the ones that had to do with used parts. Some places had very bad prices and others were very good. I got my swing i think for 125 that had somewat of a guarantee...If i got it and i didnt like hte shape it was in i could send it back and get my money back or another swingarm...some places wanted almost 250 for a swingarm. My bearing carrier i think i got for 40. I dont remember the names of the places but i know they are on that ads page in dirt wheels..oh and also i WOULD NOT ever call east coast cycle or watever its called, i called and htey wanted 150 for a swingarm, and i called the next day to buy it and they told me 225 for it. I told them how the day before they said 150 and they wouldnt budge from their new price. So i called around some more and found one for cheaper anyway. MY 2 cents...
