Default Paddle Question.... Z400

I am going to be buying a set of used Sand Geckos sizes 21X11-10 for my 03 Z400 at a good price. Note: I am on a short budget..

Anyways, I was just wondering, for that size of paddle tires, What size rims will I need in order for it to fit on my Z400??

Sorry, i'm new to this. I have search, but no luck.

Thanks for the help.

so, a 9 inch wide and 10 inch diameter should do it? Awesome, i'll keep on a look out for a used set if I can find one.

Thanks!

with a 21" high tire you might have to regear
stock gearing is 14/40 with 20' rears and with 21" it might be a little slower
if you want to keep the low end torque you need to go 13/40 or 14/41

I have 20" sand stars and I also dropped to a 13t sprocket. It's good all round for playing in the sand. I'll probably put it back to a 14 once I get back and trail ride again.

if you stay stock size on the rear paddles you dont need to regear but if you get taller tires
you need to regear or you lose torque on the bottom end
