Default Brake problem z400

During my crash, see earlier post, I knocked off my front brake. In trying to fix the brake now I am running into problems. Need some help if anyone knows, or ran into this problem. I have all the parts, and all seems to be functioning correctly. I remember my old brake would only squeeze about halfway, and when i really got on it would lift the back end off the ground. Now it is completely loose (will squeeze to the grip), and only slowly stops the machine. I followed the bleeding instructions (ie pump the brake and squeeze, loosen the valve, drain till no air bubbles, tighten valve, pump and repeat), but the brake will not get tighter. Not sure what to do?? It also seems like my right front brake is moving more than the left front, dont know why either....

you still have air in the system
I had the same problem when I changed all my brake lines
it took quite a while to get the air out
