Need help with Z\KFX

Default Need help with Z\KFX

How hard is it to change the main jet on these things and do I have to pull the carb off to do it? IF no how do I do it?

It sucks bad, worst bike i have done it to. You have to pull fuel tank off, up and over to ge to the carb, other than that its not bad took me 2 hours to get mine dialed in, was the 1st bike i ever did and it worked well. Lots of power gain if u lose the crappy air box lid. I used a dyno jet kit, it came with A+ instructions.

Oh and yea u gota take it all the way off, the main jet is on the bottom.

Default Need help with Z\KFX

unloosen the screws that hold the carb at the boots at the front and back, now rotate the carb. After you remove the fuel bowl replace the screws with allen head bolts. So the next time you want to chage the jets. take you an allen wrench. Just make sure to get an L shaped allen wrench. I believe a number 3.

Do Exactly What this man has told you to do. It is easy and changing the screws is a MUST.TRUST US WHEN WE SAY THIS. The stockers will strip on you faster than you can Oh' F*ck.

Yup rotate the carb replace screws.

Use an electric screwdriver and they wont strip. i took all 4 out of mine with no problem, and still use the orianglas(sp).
