Interesting conclusion about my Z400
I get my digger engine back from yoshi this thursday!!!!!!! Hala, hala, hala!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully it will be what i am expecting, yoshi told me that i will be in the 50 hp range. Still got the nos and they oked a 5- 10hp shot. They replaced my clutch, with new rmz stronger cluthc packs with the additions of two more plates as well. They also replaced, my barrings, titanium intake valves, shifter shaft, with the addtion of the 450 kit.

Interesting conclusion about my Z400
I'm sure that DOUG GUST winning is solely his bike right? Surely any unskilled rider could win a GNC race with the DIGGER kit right?........WRONG. I have both of these bikes and both have been modded and the YFZ is better in 90% of all situations.I'm not downing the Z because I still love to race it also but, when it comes to racing the YFZ in stock trim is hard to beat. They do feel small in the stock config. but with a plus 1 stem and some TAG bars it is completely different. The biggest downside to the Z400 for me is the excess weight ;And believe me it is noticeable.I guess this debate could go on for days but I'm going to bow out here..............Ride what you like.

I gotta agree with reconracer. They are built to be two totally different kinds of machines. The Yamaha is a racer and the Z400 is a great all around quad. I love my Z400. Everytime someone gets on mine, they can tell the comfort difference right away.
