Default LT160 repair questions

My rear axle is missing some pieces on the brake (right) side. after removing hub, there are 2 big lock nuts.there is a seal just sitting loose between the drum cover and big nuts. then a brake drum cover with a seal permanently pressed into it (actually, my seal has been riveted in permanently). then the brake drum. seems to me there should be an o-ring on the axle that the drum slides over to help seal the drum. my diagram is very poor, but seems to show 2-3 pieces BETWEEN the big nuts and the drum cover. also, which way do those 2 nuts go on? One is wider than the other. also, 1 has a tapered flange. so which goes closer to the drum, facing which way? (flange towards the tire or drum?).

anyone adjusted cam-chain tensioner?why, was it running poor? cuz mine seems to run great, but Suzuki recommends it as maintenance.

did you adjust valves, cuz again, mine is running good, so i don't want to mess with it.(again, recommended maintenance).

My shifting is a llittle stiff. there is a clutch adjustment. would this make the shifting easier? all 3 can be done at the same time with oil drained.

Its been awhile since we had our 160 but I believe that there wasn't any type of o-ring on ours.
As for the other items if it aint broke...
Take it easy.

that's what oneflycowboy said when i screwed up my carb float by trying to adjust it to spec.

only reason i was gonna do valves and cam tensioner, is because it'd all be right there while doing the clutch adjustment. and I'm ASSUMING that'll make it easier to shift.

how many seals did ya notice on axle, or was it just the one seal permanently pressed into the brake drum cover?was there a washer between the drum cover and the 2 big axle nuts (it doesn't make sense for those nuts to tighten up directly to the drum cover/seal) ?
