Default z400 big bore kit

So your saying that a 440 with the same mods as i will be faster than my yoshi 450. I know that 440 rev faster, but i doubt is going to be as power full . Also i just got done drilling my air box with a hole bunch of 1" holes, with the addition of my air box being off and i noticed a nice differance.

no murdr I have read all alot of your posts and I remember along time ago when you had no clue about the z400 motors potential and I was building them with friends who race. I remeber that I had built about the tenth z motor at that time while you were running nitrus on your stock motor and asking me a bunch of questions about motor mods because you had no clue about it. I tried to help and you finally got a z that is built right and now you seem to talk like you know it all abou them. I am just trying to share with others info from great motor builders that build pro race motors and experinces I have had with racing the z400 and the different motors that I have run. motors from tc racing engines, ct racing and yoshimura and also from some tricks that I have learned from working for suzuki. I am saying yes a 440 can be faster then the 450 yes it can be. I do think that it can be. Yoshimura makes a great motor at a price that everyone can afford that is the great thing but again im gonna tell you that you can still do more. It depends on the motor kit and the way the motor was built. When I spoke to ct last there 440 kit is faster then there 450 kit and its more money. So yeah its faster. Tc he makes a great 440 kit for it doug gust ran it last year and tom carlson is a great guy and very helpful if you ever need advise he owns tc racing. The 440 is fast mine does ok and so does the 450 they are both great motors and have potential to do well at whatever. I am dont readin on atv connection for a while again because its a bunch of nonsence know it alls here.

^^ I agree. I rarely post here anymore because everyone thinks they know everything. People sit here and talk this and that bout their set up, but I've dyno'd in the mid 50's on my Z ON GAS (couple forum members themselves saw the run), but they think they know how to do itand that I'm wrong. Whatever...

There are a few honest and good guys on here, so I PM much more than post.
